Two Indian poachers held with leopard hides

Jabalpur, Feb 1: Jabalpur police got success to nab to poachers Anil Kushwaha of Satna and Deepak Kanaujia of Jabalpur. These accused were bargaining over the hides of leopard.

Police have recovered one hide of leopard from their possession. It was 2.15meter long and 0.65meter wide.

Superintendent of Police Makarand Deuskar said that the police were receiving information about killing of wild life by the poachers and about smuggling.

Police tried to nab these poachers through the informers. In investigation police came to know that Anil Kushwaha of Satna district was involved in poaching of wild life and he was about to reach at Westland Gurudwara in Ranjhi-Khamaria with hide of a leopard.

On the basis of information police surrounded the area and when the accused Anil Kushwaha reached there police carried out search and recovered leopard's hide. The accused was being investigated and action was taken against him under section 9,39 and 51 of 1972 act of IPC.
